I just looked at Supercar Ron's ZR1 and it's beautiful. When I looked at the MSRP it blew me away, literally more expensive than a 1st gen Huracan, Evo. If I didn't have a Huracan I think I would have a ZR1.

The msrp is around 242K but add in options, lux tax, illegal dealer markup and sale taxes you are over 355K. No wonder they jacked the price of the Temerario.

It's not even broken in yet!

He made a killing when he sold his furniture business, I would buy many cars like he does. Except the cottage, what a disaster, the builder had no clue about water proofing foundations, french drains and sump pumps.

Touring car shouldn't cost like a supercar. And it's V8....

My opinion, of course.

Corvette has entered the super car realm a while ago. It can't be considered exotic because it shares the looks of the base model and the production number of hundred thousand(s) more than Lambo. However it surpasses Lambo in so many ways.

About the V8, the Tem has a V8 now and they rejoice no EV parts in there.

The last cars and coffee the regular C8 had louder cold starts than the Huracans and the majority of kids completely ignored the Huracan saying it looked ugly but drooled over the Corvettes. I was truly awestruck.

wow...I cant believe anybody would give the C8 (any version) more attention than any Huracan, no matter how loud or how fast that sucker is LOL. I like the C8 but deep in the back of my mind I'm saying to myself "its only a Corvette". I can't be the only one thinking that.

Remember, in any other country outside US, the Corvette is rare and cool comparable to other imports. In many European countries they are less common than Lambos or F-Cars. We see tons of them every day in the US so they are nothing special, not even the really fancy ones. Granted, I wouldn't turn down a C7 ZR1 but I'm not going to pretend it's exotic either.

very true and that perspective escaped me, i must admit. That C8 Z06 sounds absolutely ridiculous...love that sound!

Like REKIII said outside the US they are not as common. From 2020-2024 I saw more Huracans than C7 Corvettes in and around the city. I started to have doubts about buying an H. Form 2020-2025 +-40% less C8s than Huracans.

I just came back from a ride, not even 100 feet from my house a guy made a rev motion, then a speed bike gave me a "perfect" hand sign. A pickup truck followed me for about 8 km weaving traffic. More thumbs up from 2 other guys, another guy waved and a woman took a picture while I was in traffic.

By the way the wheel spacers(15mm) made the car a lot more stable when cornering, I didn't expect that, I was pleasantly surprised. The wheels are flush now it looks a lot better. I also added low profile mud guards on the back wheels.
