Thank you! I completely agree about the sound. The piano is overpowering my violin.

I usually stand on the left side of the piano, away from the lid where the sound comes out. That helps keep the sounds from blending too much. This time, I stood in the center, directly in front of the lid, so the pianist could be visible in the video. I could get away sometimes with Yamaha piano, but this one is a concert grade Steinway

As I have been focusing on my rigorous violin training, I had no previous piano experience, only a weekly lessons for 2 years. Will get better as time goes, hopefully
