For the the first time since 2020 the prices for the 1st gen Huracan have finally started to drop. The bubble lasted 4 years, all of them in that period gaining 70-125K on top! Prices started to decline a little bit last year but right now right before snowfall cars have officially dropped and dramatically.

The lowest Huracan now is 200K, 6 months ago I think it would be priced at 260K CAD. As you can see this Avio in 11 months dropped dramatically of 49K!

That's very informative. Thanks!

The pricing here is also dropping, but at smaller percentages. I noticed that more used cars are being sold at the moment - perhaps some owners are looking for newer cars and there are less shortages of supplies like during covid.

Strange things happening in the Huracan market. This car looked like this but then it sold among dealers and now it has spoilers, a seagull wing and a black roof top. According to carfax no personal use only commercial use. So maybe it was leased and the guy was allowed to modify it or what? Or some dealer used it for himself?

Anyway in the years I've been keeping track of LP610 and 580 borealis Huracans in the country there aren't many.

Could be leased for rentals. Once the rental period ends, dealers modify the cars to increase the appeal for another lease, to other rental companies. The cycle repeats.

The price bubble has effectively burst and prices are somewhat back to normal at least for the first gen.

The car in post #4 has dropped $3400 and is now the cheapest orange car in the last 4 years.

And just as you say @Luzifer gen1 seems to be coming down

Especially the "highest priced" ones are coming down. Inventory are also decreasing which probably are holding the values up a bit...

According to ChatGPT:
This graph provides insights into the U.S. inventory and pricing trends for Lamborghini Huracán 610 models over time. Here's a breakdown of the key observations:
  1. Pricing Trends:
    • The lowest price (blue line) remains relatively stable throughout the observed period, with minor fluctuations. This indicates that the floor price for used or base models likely has little variation, possibly due to depreciation reaching a plateau.
    • The highest price (gray line) shows significant volatility, especially around the middle of the timeline. Peaks might correspond to limited editions or high-spec models being listed, while the dips could reflect market corrections or high-priced vehicles being sold.
  2. Inventory Levels (# of 610 for sale, orange line):
    • Inventory levels (right axis) appear to correlate somewhat inversely with the highest price. For instance, when inventory spikes, the highest price often dips, suggesting supply pressures lowering the upper-end pricing.
    • Toward the end, inventory declines while prices (both highest and lowest) stabilize, possibly indicating a tightening market for the model.
  3. Significant Peaks and Troughs:
    • The sharp rise in the highest price coupled with the corresponding drop in inventory around the middle of the timeline could suggest the introduction of a sought-after variant or collector activity.
    • The decline in inventory toward the timeline's end hints at reduced listings, which might align with the model becoming rarer in the market.
  4. Potential Impact of Macroeconomic Factors:
    • External factors like seasonality, demand for luxury cars, or market trends could explain the fluctuations in both inventory and pricing, especially the steep changes in the highest price range.

Based on the trends visible in this graph (the 610 US graph), here are some insights and predictions for the pricing of the Lamborghini Huracán 610 over the next two years:

1. Stability of the Lowest Price:
  • The lowest price (blue line) has been stable, indicating that the market floor for this model is likely determined by depreciation and the car’s residual value. Over the next two years, this trend should continue, with only minor fluctuations unless external factors like economic conditions or significant changes in demand arise.
Prediction: The lowest prices will remain relatively stable, likely staying within a narrow range as the Huracán 610 ages and depreciation slows further.

2. Decline in the Highest Price:
  • The highest price (gray line) shows greater volatility and a downward trend toward the end of the graph. This could indicate softening demand for premium or highly optioned models, especially as newer Lamborghini models (e.g., replacements for the Huracán or refreshed versions) enter the market.
Prediction: The highest prices may continue to decline gradually over the next two years, particularly if more advanced or desirable Lamborghini models are released. However, rare or collector-grade versions of the 610 could still command a premium.

3. Impact of Reduced Inventory:
  • The inventory levels (orange line) show a downward trend toward the end of the timeline, suggesting fewer Huracán 610s are being listed for sale. This tightening of supply might act as a price stabilizer, especially if demand remains consistent.
Prediction: Reduced inventory could help stabilize prices, especially for well-maintained or rare versions of the model. If fewer cars are available, it may limit further price drops despite the aging of the vehicle.

4. Macroeconomic Considerations:
  • Broader factors, such as interest rates, economic growth, and trends in the luxury car market, will play a significant role. If the economy faces challenges, even stable-priced cars like the Huracán may see downward pressure as buyers become more cautious.
Prediction: In a stable economic scenario, the Huracán 610 will see mild depreciation but retain strong value. In a downturn, prices—particularly at the higher end—could fall more sharply.

Summary of Expectations for the Next 2 Years:
  • Lowest Price: Stability with minimal depreciation (~5-10% decline at most).
  • Highest Price: Gradual decline, with possible stabilization for special or collector models.
  • Inventory Levels: Further tightening, which could stabilize or increase prices for desirable variants.

This graph tracks the lowest prices over time for various Lamborghini Huracán models in the European market (EU). Here's an analysis:

Key Observations:
  1. Overall Price Trends:
    • Most models maintain fairly stable minimum prices over the period, except for significant price spikes in certain instances.
    • These spikes, visible across almost all models (especially around early to mid-2024), suggest market-wide factors or temporary supply-demand imbalances, such as seasonal trends, new model releases, or economic events.
  2. Model Comparisons:
    • 580-2 and 610-4 (RWD and AWD base models):
      • These models generally have the lowest starting prices compared to performance variants, consistent with their positioning as entry-level Huracáns.
      • The price gap between these two models remains steady over time.
    • Performante and EVO:
      • Performante prices are relatively stable, trending slightly higher than the EVO, reflecting their more focused performance-oriented appeal.
      • EVO prices show slight dips and spikes, possibly due to higher supply or fluctuations in demand for these more recent models.
    • STO (Super Trofeo Omologata):
      • STO models show the highest baseline prices among all Huracáns, reflecting their exclusivity and high performance.
      • These prices experience large spikes, likely tied to collector interest or limited supply.
    • Tecnica and Sterrato:
      • Tecnica prices follow a stable trajectory but remain higher than standard models, reflecting their niche appeal.
      • Sterrato, being a newer and highly specialized model, has the highest volatility, suggesting inconsistent supply or growing demand as it enters the market.
  3. Market-Wide Events (Spikes):
    • Spikes around 240209-240416:
      • This could reflect a sudden increase in demand (e.g., seasonal buying trends or speculators).
      • The subsequent correction suggests this was a temporary disruption rather than a long-term price shift.
  4. Price Convergence:
    • Toward the end of the timeline, the prices of several models (e.g., 580-2, 610-4, Performante, and EVO) seem to converge, indicating either market correction or maturing of depreciation curves as these models age.
Predictions:
  1. Stable Depreciation for Base Models:
    • The 580-2 and 610-4 will likely continue on a slow depreciation curve, as they are the most accessible and abundant models.
  2. Slight Decline for EVO and Performante:
    • These models may experience further gradual depreciation, particularly as newer Lamborghini models gain market share.
  3. Volatility for STO and Sterrato:
    • Collector-focused and niche models (STO, Sterrato) may remain volatile, with potential for price appreciation if demand persists or if production remains constrained.
Conclusion:
This graph reflects a maturing market for most Huracán models in the EU, with baseline models stabilizing while niche variants exhibit more significant volatility. Pricing trends for these models highlight the interplay between depreciation, rarity, and buyer preferences in the supercar segment

Trump is in the office now. I'm waiting for him to fulfill his promise to stop the Russia-Ukraine war in a few weeks, and get the Lambo prices to plummet so I can get another one :) Or is he full of hot air :)

The country is preparing for Trump tariffs and retaliate, if so this isn't going to go well, it will deepen the recession for everyone here. It will also impact American citizens as some of their imports will also increase dramatically.

I think with the Trump tariffs on steel and aluminum which may add up to 25% on the new Temerario I think the first gen H will not drop in price anytime soon.

I laughed at one of Teme advert: "you know you want it, don't hide."

I don't hide, I just look away.

That tariffs is made to "help" US Steel and GM because, when it comes to commodity, nobody can compete with China because they dump prices. But the problem is, US made products these days have become less & less desirable because of built quality. Big and rough items, sure. But smaller things that require details and meticulous techniques are impossible. That is always the problem and it never goes away.

Seems like everyone is dumping their borealis H before winter! If I hadn't gotten a good deal 2 years ago ( there were only two on the market) now I would have many to choose from.

Still no drop in prices for EVO here. The big brother is more expensive and the supposedly upgrade is not that exciting.

I just got an invitation from my dealer to race Temerario in a local race track next month. I don't feel all that excited whenever I think of its V8, so may just skip it.

Seems prices are actually coming down now, especially on EVOs, right?
I have not paid attention to evos but right now they're aren't many for sale. 110K over the ones I just posted. 110K for a nicer looking rear end but no volume knob. I have no interest whatsoever.

Even if not interested in buying the car it would be fun to go out for a day to drive it.
