So, yes... another reason for you guys to move to Sweden, right? ;-)

Except from that we today, even here down in the very southeast are getting some 10-30cm snow... But reports say, it will melt away on Saturday... maybe it will be another of those years when this is all the snow we get this season.

I was going to take the C7 this afternoon to do errands because the pavement was dry yesterday but I woke up to a fine layer of snow. I think I won't be able to drive till spring. 10 more days before mandatory winter tires.

My home town already have snow banks, they already piled snow in the middle of the street lanes. They do not remove snow like over here, they pile it up hindering traffic, such a strange concept.

We are quite heavily taxed here too.
Normal salaries is one example. Depending on where you live, and how much you make - you are taxed differently. But the more you get, and especially if you are over a certain level, you get an extra tax to pay that is deducted from your salary every month. What many people don't understand is that the company is also paying taxes on top of the salary.
Up to the bracket level you get around 18-20 % deducted. The part of your salary that is over the bracket, then get an 50% tax deduction - but the part that is below the bracket is still "just" the 18-20%.

Then when you are to use your salary to buy something - there is tax (moms) on most everything between 6-25% (most common is 25).

So... taxes on cars is actually something that isn't that bad over here. You have the tax on the car every year you own it, but not when you buy or sell it for neither seller or buyer.

If you earn money on investments such as stocks, crypto etc - you have a tax of 30% on the gain normally. However since a few years back the first 150.000 SEK is tax free, and they will increase it to 300.000 SEK next year.

In this place, having money or owning something nice almost feels like a punishment. When times get tough, the first targets are always the wealthy, people with anything shiny, or foreigners. That is why rich people in Tokyo surround themselves with high walls and hide their cars away. The left often forgets that success comes with sacrifice, and many prefer to blame others instead of using failure as a chance to grow.

Inventory going up in general

Here inventory hasn't changed much at 72 cars on autotrader plus 8-12 on other websites, with prices still higher than pre covid. I think prices will not drop any further with the Gallardos and the ridiculous Temerario price tag. If Gallardo prices drop they'll be equal to C7 Corvettes and that ain't happening. Huracans won't drop because they would be priced like Gallardos.

The Huracan race car is now gone, it had been up for 4+ years. Another car is still there after 4-5 years. Some cars have been there 3 years. They have been up for so long they stopped advertising on car gurus because it shows how many days it's been for sale. So what they do is keep in autotrader where you can't see how long it has been for sale. Forget negotiating a price drop, they'll tell you to go away, it'll sit many more years no problem.

I could sell my car the price I paid for it however since the market is real slow it would take a year to sell. Not enough people who can afford these cars.

Very interesting graphs. Looks like the inventory is being moved outside US probably to reduce tax. Most models are on or near 10 years of age so logically the sale number is increasing as people are changing their cars into newer ones.

However I don't see that many people who owned Huracans to jump into Temerarios. Some might jump ship to Ferraris and Maclarens.
