I too am not a fan or rubber bracelets but I can see why they would do that, first it's cheap and two a painted metal band would scratch easily.

So after a few days of owning it how do you like it? I'd be curious if you ever got a replica to see to compare the differences.

I briefly looked at replica stuff but it's just too shady of an industry and I don't trust my information not being compromised when placing an order with China. Plus taking a risk of getting products seized and potentially facing consequences for that doesn't seem worth it to me. I don't have any counterfeit goods so why start now. I appreciate the quality and craftsmanship of genuine items which is still unmatched IMO.

So I bought another poor man's watch compared to these luxury Rolexes. I found another designer I find interesting, Ralph Christian. Apex Chrono in sunset orange. Seems like a quality watch hefting it. I checked out their site for instructions and stumbled on a different watch I like and thought maybe there's a promo code online somewhere and hot damn after typing the code I got a saving of $120! so I bought it on the spot.

Meanwhile I think I'm going to buy another Apex and return the duplicate to get the rebate.

That looks like quite a hefty watch. What's the weight on that thing? I find the rolex watches are a bit on the heavy side you really feel them on the wrist that's my biggest complaint

It's very light, half the weight of my chunky Bulova, lighter than all my Tonino. A bit heavier than the cheap Lotus'. I wore it all day, it was pretty cool all day no complaints I even wore it on a 2 hour drive, usually I take my watches off on a long trip.

This one is a partial bust, in the sense it was listed as neon sport but the strap in pudding color, like butterscotch pudding. Thankfully I got a big discount on it. The centerpiece is orange but the bracelet is not. I turned off the light so you can see the strap's real color.

I should've removed the plastic on the face.

I've been working on remodeling my bedroom for several months now, progress has sometimes been slow working for clients on the weekends, or having to redo stuff to get it perfect and also taking some days off to enjoy going out for a drive. The room is not entirely complete yet, I replaced the floating floor, I painted walls, replaced all the baseboards and door trims. I did an entire wall of floating cabinets, some of which I had to cut them up smaller and customize them. Even the hangers I fabricated. Then I needed to paint many tops, bottoms and sides. I sanded and painted my bed with metallic car paint. Another difficult project was the accents lights, I had to be creative as the remote would interfere with my bathroom lights turning both rooms off or on or half half plus they all had to be synced with another remote due to being plugged in different outlets.

Next I did another a smaller wall of floating cabinets and incorporated a section for my watch collection. I still need to replace the outlets and light switch with designer style and modern window shades. I could never of done this with my ex GF since we spent every weekend together.

Thank you, I'm very proud, I always wanted something ultra modern. The bathroom too is ultra modern, everything I built is custom, it was back when I had no money yet I made it work. I'll take a picture of the other side of the bedroom...Soon.
